The Nikon D80 is a versatile camera that can be used by beginners and advanced users alike. It has an automatic setting that simplifies photography and becomes more complicated as the user progresses. It can be used with both the AF Nikkor 70-300 mm1:4-5.6G lens and Sigma28-90mmD lens, although full functions of both lenses may not be possible. The D80 has approximately 1565 shutter actuations. Included in the camera kit are an AF 19-35 mm f/3.5 zoom lens, a Skylight filter, two batteries, a battery charger, an additional slave flash with mounting bracket, a Dazzle* high-speed transfer stick, video viewing cables, a 1 gig memory chip, and a "D 80 Digital Field Guide" by David Busch. Customer reception of this product has been mixed. Many have found it to work perfectly, be a great deal, and a very good camera at its age. On the other hand, some have experienced issues like the camera showing an ERR code, a short battery life, and not receiving all the items shown in the promotional pictures.
