Question:
Plugging into an outside outlet gives bad guys the ability to unplug it. Is there another option, or would it require feeding power cord into the house?
Answer: If you mount it in a ceiling with recessed can lighting you can use an adapter that screws into the light socket to provide power so that the camera is high enough off the ground so it cant be unplugged. -
Question:
What is the cost of the cloud storage?
Answer: CloudPlay subscriptions are $6 per month/$60 per year for seven days of storage or $11 per month/$110 per year for 30 days of storage. These costs are per camera but both subscriptions include our new Daily Recap feature which highlights the footage captured throughout the day within seconds so you can see if there is any footage that you need to watch quickly. -
Question:
If I want to record continuous overnight, would this camera be capable of doing that? What storage could I use for something like that?
Answer: No, it does not record 12am to 6am, even if you pay for the cloud service. -
Question:
Can you view the video on an Echo Show?
Answer: Be careful here. My ezviz gives me "buffering..." MOST of the time on my Show. -
Question:
To live view do I need a fast internet speed?
Answer: For better performance, please ensure that you have internet with decent speed. We recommend that you reserve 1Mbps upload speed per device on your network. -
Question:
Can you connect to an EZVIZ smart security DVR system?
Answer: The Husky is a stand alone cloud camera and cannot be connected to an EZVIZ NVR/DVR. Although, you can have a DVR and Husky linked up and added to one EZVIZ account. -
Question:
Compatible s/d card
Answer: Any Micro - SD card rated at class 4 - class 10 or UHS-1, is compatible with this camera. Please note, max. is 128GB
