With this product, you can easily mount the base to the wall, then place the terminals onto the base and attach the switching mechanism over the entire backing plate and terminals. This product is a durable and great-looking battery disconnect switch. It is very easy to use and it is a perfect cut-off switch for the house batteries in motorhomes. One great feature is that it can be mounted and then wired from the front, giving a greater level of control over the wire position in the process. After the wiring is done, the control knob and cover can be placed in any of 4 positions. While it has been criticized for the quarter-turn mounting locks for the switch cover/knob, this switch is still sturdy and the best one out there.
