Answer: The charger will be plugged into an outlet while it's connected to and charging your battery. You should not charge your battery while your car is running. -

What if the battery is just too low to start the car? Will it bring the battery up in 5 or ten minutes or does it take a long time?
Answer: This is not really a charger but a long term tender. It will charge, but very slowly. For a low battery, think in terms of many hours or even a few days. -

Can someone explain? It says attach a 6-gauge cable to the - post, THEN attach the + and - clips. What is that 6-gauge cable? Didn't come with it.
Answer: The 6-gauge battery cables do not come with the charger. They can often be purchased at your local large auto parts store. -
