What is the temperature of the cold water?
Answer: The cold water is approximately 47deg F, eliminating the need for ice cubes. -

Answer: Sure you can. It is great at a party. And you can get it out of the hot side too. Looks cool with goldfish inside the water bottle. Just add an air pump and a hole in the top to feed the fish. You just drain the dirty water out the cup filler. Don't drink it though. -

Does it have a stainless steel tank?
Answer: I had my husband take the back off the back to look and yes it does have a stainless tank. The manual has nothing about stain. -

Does this unit have the splash-free bottle loader?
Answer: Yes, it does, if you mean it has a spindle in the center that allows us to drop a capped carboy onto the spindle, which breaks a membrane in the cap, releasing the water. The 40 lb. bottle has to be lifted to place it on the spindle, which requires some strength, but otherwise the procedure is straightforward. It does not splash. -

Does this unit have the peg that punches hole in bottle or do you use spill-proof caps on it and do you like the dispenser?
Answer: Yes, it does have the peg that punches hole in bottle cap. Two months into using the dispenser, a spring popped out of the hot water side dispenser. We use still without the safety spring. -

Answer: 42' tall. 12x12. Its 59' w jug of water on top. -

Does the unit come with a bottle?
Answer: No bottle comes with it. -

Can you use a Pur water filtration system instead of water bottles - as I do with the one I’m replacing, making it more eco-friendly?
Answer: Well, yes and no. There is no valving for a direct connection. But if you want to fill a 2to5 gallon bottle from your pur filter to save 35 cents a gallon, go to it. -

What is the height with a 5-gallon bottle attached?
Answer: The overall height with the water bottle is 4'10' or 58 inches.
