It is designed to be used on electric, glass, and induction cooktops and is oven safe up to 500 degrees. Customers have used it to cook various dishes, and it is excellent for browning chicken and making chicken parm. The handle is heat resistant and does not get hot during cooking. However, some customers have reported that the salmon skin gets ruined when frying fish. While the majority of customers have had an excellent experience with the pan, some have found that it is not any more non-stick than other stainless steel pans and that the small ridges and grooves in the surface cause food to burn and collect in the center.
