The product needs to be grounded for safety reasons, and grounding plates and tape are advised to be used. According to one customer, painting the entire wall opposite a smart meter is recommended, and should protect against 5G. The paint lasts indefinitely on walls, but only for a year in the bucket when unopened. The paint can also be covered with a water-based paint. Unfortunately, one customer found that using the product caused mold to form because of a lack of ventilation. This could be an issue when selling the home to Prospective buyers in the future.
