Nutritionist's Take

C-Salts Sodium Ascorbate Powder is a buffered form of Vitamin C, which is often recommended for its enhanced gastrointestinal tolerance compared to acidic forms. This product offers significant nutritional benefits, including antioxidant properties, immune support, and potential cardiovascular health improvements. With 181 servings per 8 oz container, it provides an economical option for those looking to supplement their Vitamin C intake. However, some potential drawbacks include the sodium content, which may not be suitable for individuals on sodium-restricted diets. Additionally, while the company may claim benefits related to immune function, these claims should be viewed critically, as individual responses to supplementation can vary. Ingredient quality is essential; verify sourcing and production standards to ensure you are choosing a reputable product. Overall, C-Salts can be a healthy choice for many, particularly for those needing buffered Vitamin C, but always consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice.
