Answer: No. To remove ring put tea towel over steam lightly with steam iron. Ring gone. Trust me. -

Can I use this after sanding and applying wood stain on a chair? Or do I need to varnish?
Answer: This just restores the colour of faded wood that isn't varnished. It's absorbed by the wood. If you have taken the wood back to its clean surface and stained it, I am not sure what this would add to the finish. It has a similar effect to linseed oil and lemon juice. -

Answer: If the table is wood, it will be fine. It is an oil. I have used it on my wooden kitchen cupboards in the past. -

Answer: I'm sure that would be fine. Obviously, you can't use liquid gold over the varnish. -

Would this product be best for scratches on chair leg caused by cat? Thanks
Answer: You might need something with a bit of colour in it to match the chair leg. This really only soaks into the wood. Having used it a few weeks ago, things seem to be as bad as they were. I don't think it would have made an impression on any of the scratches our cats made.
