Can these wood chips be used indoors?
Answer: No, not for indoors. -

What's the best flavor for the wood chips?
Answer: Hardwoods work well with beef and ribs. Fruit woods are best with fish, chicken, and pork. As far as best flavor, that is subjective. Apple is a nice mild flavor to start with. -

How many times can I use these wood chips?
Answer: The whole bag will give you numerous smoking sessions. no way to tell how many because of the way each person uses them. -

What wood is whiskey made out of and what is good to use on?
Answer: Whiskey barrels are oak or French oak. Oak is normally a neutral smoke. Barrel chips or wood would impart smoke whiskey flavor. I use Apple (bacon) or hickory pork shoulder / beef brisket with some cherry chicken.I use whiskey directly in the brine for my whiskey brown sugar bacon. -

What is the nation of origin of the apple wood chips? USA or China? Does it even say?
Answer: It says in small print on the bottom back of the bag that it is made in the USA. But then it states that It 'Contains globally Incorporated Parts' so my guess would be wood from all over is used, not just wood from US. Not sure though, but that would be my best guess. Hope this helps. -

Can these wood chips be used for gas and charcoal grills?
Answer: If you want to use these on a gas grill (like I do) you have to get the smoker box. It's very small, so you won't waste any wood chips... just big enough for about an hour of cooking time... but it adds A LOT of flavor.I made pecan smoked steaks and chicken last week and some applewood smoked pork chops tonight... the amount of flavor is perfect (!!!)... not overpowering to give you a stomach ache, but definitely is right there on the back of your tongue.Happy Grilling!!! -

Answer: These are wood chips to be soaked and put in a grill so the smoke made from them will flavor what is being cooked. It is NOT an oven, nor can it be used in an oven because of the smoke it will make.

They can be used on gas or charcoal grills with a smoker box to add a lot of flavor to your cooking. It's difficult to determine how many smoking sessions you can get with one bag, but it should be numerous.
