The GlowCity Glow in The Dark Football is a youth-sized football that uses three LR-44 batteries that are replaced with Energizer 357 button cell batteries for better performance. The ball requires inflation with a pump, and while not waterproof, it can withstand being left outside for many nights. However, it should not be thrown in a pool as it is hard and could cause injury. It is not recommended for dogs due to the plug with battery and LED light. The ball arrived on time, works great in the dark, and makes for a fun Christmas or birthday present. It is a novelty and short-lived present, however, as it deflates quickly and requires frequent re-inflation. Some customers found it difficult to change the batteries and did not find it very bright in the dark.
