    Answer: The latches are made of die-cast electroplated stainless steel and high-strength ABS for durability.
  • Question: So there is no drilling on a 2018 jl. Is drilling required on an older jk?

    Answer: There is no drilling required. It will be a tight fit and it doesn't seem to fit, but continue to tighten and the latch will be pulled into the holes.
  • Question: Will this fit 08 jk?

    Answer: Yes. I installed them on my 2010 JK. Had to do slight modification to get the holes to align. Fairly easy install. Far better than the rubber strap type. Very secure and no hood shake.

    Answer: Hello, this fits a JK only with adjustments to the hood by drilling or sawing the latches. Can be done. I installed mine without drilling the hood but changing the hood parts and removing the plastic pins on the lower part that is mounted on the fender. With kind regards, Micha.

    Answer: I just clipped the two nubs off with some wire cutters and bolted them on. Others have drilled out the holes to make them fit just wasn't the option I did. Haven't had any issues with them with the method I used work great and solid no more hood flutter!
  • Question: Are these genuine Mopar or aftermarket?

    Answer: These are aftermarket
  • Question: How long do they take to install?

    Answer: To do it properly for correct fender and hood alignment, it takes about 30 minutes per side. There's drilling involved to properly gap the fender to the hood. If you're interested in doing it, search Ratchet JKU on YouTube, you'll see the install video on the page. Technically, you could just install them as is but the gap between the hood and fender will be off.
  • Question: Will this fit a 2013 Jeep jk

    Answer: I have a 2015 and they fit but the hood sits a tiny bit higher than factory. A little less than 1/8” but to me, it’s worth it to get rid of the hood clap.
