Answer: I'm not a 100% sure, but all Tallits have texts representing God. Regarding Prayer Shawl, this particular one is above average & price is outstanding for the quality. The material is 100% polyester but it is not shiny. It looks like woven linen. The color is an off-white. The long end tassels are blue and white with shorter white tassels in the middle. The stripes are dark blue (almost black), grey and gold. It comes in a lovely protective pouch. -

How do I clean this tallit and can I iron it?
Answer: The safest and easiest way to clean this Tallit is to leave it in the zipper bag and wash it in the washer - warm water is fine - do not use bleach - you can use oxy clean and liquid laundry soap. Then hang dry - do not dry in dryer. Yes, you can iron it and the material will turn out very nice. If you iron it go quickly over the stripes because the heat can make the metallic gold shrink - The white portions of the shawl will iron very nicely.
