The top dial has several functions included day of the week, setting alarm, day, and date while the left side of the dial indicates the power reserve level in stopwatch mode. Only the tips of the minute and hour are lumibrite. Overall, this watch is a great value for its price point. However, it has a lot of functionalities which make it difficult to set up without proper guidance. Customers advise following You-Tube tutorials as the Seiko manual is not helpful. Besides, the smaller inset dials may be difficult to read for some users. Additionally, the "minute" hand shows the date and only shows seconds when using the stopwatch. The seconds are on the tiny dial to the left of the bigger hand.
