Answer: They might not. This is a 14V rated bulb, but the doorbell usually is 24 volt rated. You can add a resistor in series such that the voltage across the bulb is 12V. But I do not recommend that. Buy a 24V rated bulbs. -

The CEC Industries #2182 D Bulbs are a T-1.75 shaped bulb with a voltage of 14V and wattage of 1.12W. Sold in a box of 10, these bulbs have received generally positive reviews from customers. One customer used these bulbs in their HVAC controls in their Dodge Charger and reported that they were all working nicely months later. Another customer used them to replace the light behind the 4x4 dial and reported they worked great. A customer who had made a mistake in buying these bulbs still praised the product for being perfect with good quality and quick delivery. These bulbs were also used to replace burnt out bulbs in a climate control module of a 2006 Dodge Charger, and in Pontiac radios.
