The knife comes with a reversible clip that can be mounted on either side of the handle, and the blade is made of 420HC steel. Some customers have complained about the weight and sharp jimping on the flipper tab. However, other reviewers have praised the blade's sharpness, heftiness, and solid Construction, of which it punches way beyond its price point. Kershaw has used steel from Seki, Japan and other parts from China in the past, but the Link's CPM-20CV steel is all-American.
