Alexander Hamilton (1757-1804) was a military captain during the War of Independence. He fought a famous duel with Aaron Burr, resulting in his untimely death.

John Jay (1745-1829) was the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. He made significant contributions to the legal field and helped establish important judicial precedents. Although he did not sign the Declaration of Independence, Jay played a crucial role in ensuring its approval in New York.
He later served as Governor of New York and retired to a quiet life on a farm.
