- This Fiberglass Fire Rope is 5/8 in diameter and is used to seal Outdoor Wood Furnaces doors. It has a great rating of being able to handle 1000 degrees Fahrenheit, and is braided. This item is often changed on outdoor wood furnaces for yearly maintenance or to replace an old one that may be allowing air through, thus potentially causing overheating of the stove. This is a high quality product which is made in the US! This item is sold by the foot. Six Foot minimum is required, the quantity selected is equivalent to the length in feet. (Quantity of 6, is 6 feet)
