It is an ideal desk for home offices, kids’ rooms, dorms, and apartments because of its compact size of only 36” wide. The desk has a height of 29 ¼ inches without the storage shelf on top. However, the shelves make organisation easy and efficient. Several customers have expressed that the assembly of the desk can be challenging because the instructions only contain pictures and no written instructions. Some parts are also not labelled, making it harder to assemble. Therefore, it is important to plan for plenty of time to set up the desk correctly. Additionally, a few customers received the desk with defective or broken parts. However, most found the desk to be sturdy once assembled. It is made of pressboard, which can be delicate and flimsy during the setup. The desk has no keyboard tray, but there is enough space for a keyboard on top if you are using a monitor. The shelf is fixed and cannot be removed.
