    Answer: No, the strobe comes with 3M dual lock for easy mounting, and it weighs only 6g, so it's easy to install.

    Answer: Possibly water resistant, but exposure to water is not recommended.
  • Question: If I wanna Mount a different way from Velcro what can you do

    Answer: FAA rules require visibility from 3 SM. Mounting on top of the drone is suggested for visibility.
  • Question: Will the lights interfere with picture taking or recording video?

    Answer: In the handful of times flown, the light did not interfere with pictures or video, especially when mounted on the top rear of the drone.

    Answer: At 500 ft in daylight, it may not be very helpful, especially for long distances.

    Answer: It is a 3-pack for $40.
  • Question: Is it necessary to remove the strobe top/bottom to store the drone, if so, is it difficult with the Velcro?

    Answer: It is recommended to remove it, especially from the bottom, and it may not be difficult with the Velcro.
  • Question: Anyone use this with a DJI Avata? Where did you mount it?

    Answer: You can mount it anywhere it fits, choose the placement for visibility.
