The Hans Grill Pizza Stone Set includes a rectangular unglazed ceramic tile pizza stone, a pizza peel with a bamboo handle, and a pizza cutter. The stones are 14.9 x 11.8 inches in size and will easily fit in most ovens or barbecues. The recommended preheating time is one hour before baking your pizza. The ceramic tile is supposed to 'season' over time and will turn dark brown, resulting in enhanced non-stick capabilities and better overall performance. It is important to clean the pizza stone with very hot water and a scraper or stiff plastic spatula by 'pushing' any food off the surface & rinsing. One should never use soap on the stone. However, if something bad gets on the stone, a paste of baking soda & water or sprinkling baking soda & pouring vinegar over it will help to clean it. The Hans Grill Pizza Stone Set is versatile and can be used for baking pizza, crescent rolls, bread, and pita.
