National Cycle Windshields N2301A Editorial Review
The National Cycle Dakota Windshield has garnered mixed reactions from customers who purchased it for use with BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha motorcycles. On one hand, many users praise the product for its affordability and effective wind protection. Customers noted a significant improvement in visibility while riding, especially as the windshield is adjustable, allowing for a customized height that enhances the riding experience. Enthusiasts expressed satisfaction with its aesthetics and mentioned that it’s a great value for the price, especially when paired with the recommended mounting kit. However, not all feedback was positive. Some customers encountered issues with fitment on specific motorcycle models, leading to disappointment. One user from Hawaii reported durability concerns, especially regarding rust on the original mounting bolts, which necessitated a replacement with stainless steel components after only a few months of use. Despite its benefits in wind and rain protection, these durability issues, particularly in harsher climates, may deter some potential buyers. Overall, the National Cycle Dakota Windshield is widely regarded for its design and functionality at an attractive price point, though potential buyers should be mindful of compatibility and possible maintenance needs. **
