Answer: I do think this is a faulty product. Mine has been vastly inconsistent, wouldn't stay on the lbs choice, and eventually just stopped working altogether. Now, it pops up with 0.0 and won't budge. Very disappointed in this product. -

I can't get my scale to read pounds so i can't tell what i weigh. there is no button that i can find. i'd like to talk to someone to send it back?
Answer: There is a tiny button on the back that you need to press, I believe prior to stepping on the scale. I couldn’t get mine to stay in pounds. My scale only worked about a week. I couldn’t figure out how to return it without the original packaging. So now it sits on my floor & occasionally lights up. My daughter says it works about 10% of the time, but only in metric so she converts the weight. -

Step by step directions, please, why does nothing happen?
Answer: 1. Remove all packaging from scale. There may be a piece of packaging blocking the contacts inside the battery compartment that would keep it from operating. 2. Open battery compartment located on the bottom of the scale. Push the white tab and lift to open the compartment. Install 2 AAA batteries ensuring polarity is correct. Replace battery compartment cover 3. Evenly step on scale with equal weight on both sides of the scale. Note: scale can only way objects at least 9 lb. The scale will not activate for objects lighter than 9 lb. It should be very easy. If this doesn't work you may have a faulty product -

Answer: Only if you know kilograms because it won’t stay on pounds. There’s a small button on bottom of scale that is suppose to change from pounds to kilograms but it doesn’t stay on pounds. I wouldn’t recommend this scale. -
