Invented by Oetiker in 1979, this technology eliminates steps and overlaps on the inner circumference of the clamp, resulting in a 360° leak-free seal. The unique "tongue-in-groove" feature applies pressure evenly around the connection's diameter, providing a continuous radial force and ensuring a secure and tight seal. One of the key features of this clamp is the mechanical interlock closure. This closure securely retains the round clamp geometry and can be opened to allow for easy assembly and adjustment of the clamp's diameter.
This feature provides flexibility and convenience, allowing you to obtain alternative diameters before tightening. To ensure the perfect fit, simply push the hose onto the attaching material and measure the outer diameter of the hose. The clamp's listed size denotes the inner diameter of the clamp, so choose a size slightly above the average diameter of your hose for a secure fit. Please note that these clamps are not suitable for PEX applications. Oetiker PEX Clamps should be used for PEX applications specifically.
