The plate has a diameter of 1 7/8" and with tabs, it is 2 1/8". The blades are made from good quality stainless steel, making them a perfect fit on the KitchenAid grinder attachment. However, these blades do not have a grinder for cornmeal. Overall, these blades seem to be a good replacement for lost or dull blades, provided they are compatible with your specific KitchenAid meat grinder attachment.
