The LASCO 10-0061 adapters are a perfect solution for transitioning old 1/2 male NPT fittings with 12-inch flexible lines to 3/8 compression hooks up. They are compliant with federal low lead requirements as well as California AB-1953 and NSF61. The adapters have a 1/2 inch pipe thread on the inside and adapt to 3/8 which fits most new faucets. The rubber gaskets are flat and interchangeable only between ends of the same size. The adapters are made of brass and can handle water up to 125 degrees. However, the size description is not complete so the sweet spot between too loose and too tight is hard to find. In terms of pricing, it is an inexpensive product and can only be found online.
