Answer: There are no chemicals or compounds used in the manufacturing of this product. California has strict health and safety codes and recognizes Nickel and Chromium as (2) elements known to the state of California that can potentially cause cancer or birth defects. Any product sold within the state of California containing those elements must be labeled with a Prop 65 disclaimer. -

Answer: No, the colander does not include a pot protector. It does not require one since the colander suspends in the stock pot and does not touch the inside surfaces. -

Answer: The set is MAG-A10-360L-IND. -

What are the size of the holes in this colander? Are they small enough to strain quinoa or rice without them falling through?
Answer: The bottom holes are 3.97mm / 0.156 inch and the side holes are 6.35mm / 0.25 inch. The bottom holes are probably small enough for rice not to fall through but quinoa is smaller and will most likely fall through.
