Answer: Truvani puts a warning label on some products because lead is naturally occurring in them. They believe that the consumer deserves to know that there’s lead in the product, no matter what level it is. Truvani tests every single product rigorously before it even enters their facility, then again for traces of mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, and glyphosate. Truvani comes under the prop 65 limit; however, lead is naturally occurring, and it’s hard to control a naturally occurring substance. Lead levels can literally vary from bag to bag. Truvani warns the consumer because they believe the customer deserves to know. -
