BINQIGOO Tail Light Assemblies BO-MODELY-PILOT Editorial Review
The Red Housing LED Rear Bumper Reflector Lights for the Tesla Model Y (2021-2023) have received mixed feedback from customers, highlighting both positive aspects and significant challenges associated with installation and durability. Users generally appreciate the aesthetic appeal and brightness of the lights, describing the final look as "amazing." Installation is deemed manageable for those willing to watch instructional videos; however, the lack of included instructions has been a point of frustration for several users. Many customers appreciated the ease of wiring connections, noting that the separate wires were an advantage during installation, allowing for precise routing and minimizing potential grounding problems. However, several reviews point out that, despite the seemingly straightforward process, the actual installation can be labor-intensive, particularly when removing the tail light and making accommodations for wire routing through the bumper. Some users faced issues with the OEM reflectors being difficult to remove and reported needing to drill wider holes in the bumper for correct fitment. A significant portion of the reviews also drew attention to durability concerns. After a year, some users reported that the LED lights failed prematurely, casting doubt on their long-term reliability. Compounding this issue, there were complaints about design flaws, specifically regarding the clips that are supposed to secure the lights, which some found did not function as intended. In conclusion, while the Red Housing LED Rear Bumper Reflector Lights provide a stylish upgrade for Tesla Model Y owners, potential buyers should be mindful of the installation challenges and the mixed durability feedback. It is advisable to be prepared for a DIY project that involves some troubleshooting. **
