The OMNIFilter U30-S-S06 Standard Whole House Filter is a replacement filter for an older model Omni Filter. It takes OMNI T01-SS carbon filter and reduces sediment, sand, dirt and rust particles to 5 microns. The O-ring part # OK25-DC6-S18 fits into this system. This system works on both chlorinated or non-chlorinated water and is designed for fine sediment filtration for the whole house. It is smaller than it looks and is not a whole house filter. It is easy to hook up and change this filter without shutting off the water. The filter may wobble until the air has been removed by turning on a faucet that uses the filtered water. The two white fittings shown in one of the photos are not included with the system, but quick connect or compression fittings will work with this system. It is suitable for use on a well system as it removes iron and other tastes out of the water. **
