It is perfect for a small cabin and is fuel-efficient, but it is challenging to get the fire started, and you need to leave the door open to get enough air. It needs to be fed every hour or so; it is not a set and forget stove. The double wall class A pipe is expensive, costing around 1000 dollars, while the stove itself costs less. It is not the most efficient as it uses a lot of wood, but it is perfect if your wood is free. It is not recommended for those with neighbors or HOA that might complain about the actual smoke that comes out of the chimney.
