Solarez clear, UV cure, molding & casting polyester resin – super fast cure! – 3-5 min per 1/2 inch of resin w/ sunlight or 25-30 min w/ 2% MEKP catalyst (MEKP included but only required for projects deeper than 1/2 inch). Cure times in sunlight may vary based on geographic placement above the equator, season, and weather. Don't be an amateur! Read all info! Professional UV resin since 1985.
- No yellowing like other brands! ~ Cures exceptionally dry in the sun - sun cures with clear molds up to three quarter-inch thickness. – MEKP included but not required! For thicker molds or difficult casts, add 2% MEKP. Casting with MEKP is still much faster than epoxy resins - average of 25-30-minute curing time. Read product insert and/or watch videos before using.
- UV curable polyester resin ventilation requirement! - All polyester resins have a distinctive styrene odor. Use in a well-ventilated area. No odor is given off after fully cured.
