  • Question: Can additional engraved inserts be purchased?

    Answer: Yes, customers can order multiple replacement inserts to use with the embosser.
  • Question: Can the embosser be used for legal documents?

    Answer: As long as the document is notarized, embossed seals can be used on legal documents.
  • Question: What is the size of the impression area?

    Answer: The impression area is 1-5/8'' round diameter (actual artwork may be a bit less).
  • Question: Can you make an embosser plate with a custom design if I provide the artwork, and if so can you tell me how to send the artwork?

    Answer: You can email us the file in vector format. It can be a PDF file. We will let you know if it can be done.
  • Question: Does this product adjust so that I can emboss in different angles?

    Answer: The one I got does not adjust. You specify ahead which direction you want it, top or bottom
  • Question: Do you sell just the die--no handle?

    Answer: Yes, but make sure you have the same model # when you order as there are several and they do not work together.
  • Question: How far is the "reach" of the tool? Need for art prints.

    Answer: You order it based on placing it on top or bottom of a document. The image will not be upright on the side of a document. The larger (2") tool reaches in 3/4" to the outside edge of the seal, or from the edge of a document. It is not recommended for card stock, but I did nice impressions on 40 lb photo paper. You can also order different embossers (with the same style #) without needing to order the whole tool. Nice heavy gauge steel too.
  • Question: Can I request an embosser without a logo? Just text above and below?

    Answer: I believe you can leave the center blank. You will get what you type, and it will show you the finished look before you order.
  • Question: Does the center stamp automatically come with " the ____ family", and you fill in the name? or can you get it without the " the, family"?

    Answer: All lines are custom, you can print up to character limit.
  • Question: If the center text is longer what can i do? how can i order more inserts and what would be the price? can be printed a company logo?

    Answer: Only so much text fits, and it shows you before you order. You can order more inserts, and specify that only, but remember to tell them which model embosser you have beacause there are several and they are not interchangeable. They were very helful in answering the questions I have answered here, so ask them directly for specifics from the product page.
  • Question: Can I customize the center with a specific logo?

    Answer: You can email the seller after purchase. If you can provide a vector format file, we can do it.
