Answer: The best form of charging is natural sunlight as rare earth elements take most of their charge from UV rays. -

What do you mix it with to make it a paint?
Answer: You can mix it with just about any CLEAR medium. It must be clear when dry or the dye of the paint will cover the color change properties and nothing will happen. Hope this helps. Regards Glomania. -

If i mix this with white mica powder to have white resin in the light will it still glow in the dark?
Answer: If the white mica powder is added to a medium of sorts as long as it does not leach and is encapsulated it should not effect or cover the glow in the dark crystals, stopping them from charging and emitting their glow -

How much additive do I need for 2 quarts of latex eggshell paint?
Answer: Unfortunately any colored latex paint will NOT work with Glow in the dark pigment as the dye structure of the latex will encompass the crystals and inhibit them from charging and discharging. Hope this helps. -

can add food dye colors in white glow it work?
Answer: I do not know about the dye. I added some metallic paint and it still glows. It’s not real bright but it does glow. -

Will this work if added to standard cab of white paint? If so what is best ratio?
Answer: No it will not work as the pigment will get covered by the paint dye and stop the crystals from charging and glowing. Sorry about that. -

Can the white version be mixed with translucent Sculpey to make glow in the dark sculptures?
Answer: It may only be added to clear medium -

When this is mixed in a clear epoxy does it change the color at all? I would like to use it in a clear coat and don’t want that yellowish tint.
Answer: It turns it a yellowish color. -

does the red look look as intense as it does in the pics?
Answer: This is the day visible red glows red/orange color. This is NOT a pillar box red color in the daytime and when mixed with a clear medium may become lighter still. The pigment does glow a RED/ORANGE color and NOT a pure red. Hope this helps. -

Can it be mixed with car paint?
Answer: I have mixed it with clear media and with paint and it retains some of the glow in the dark ability, depending on the pigment of the paint. -

Is this pigment powder MMA free?
Answer: MMA is a monomer used in the production of acrylic liquids, our pigments are made from crystals and is not produced with MMA
