iStarUSA Computer Cases D-400L-7 Editorial Review
The iStar D Storm D-400L-7 4U Rackmount Server Chassis is praised for its rugged, professional-looking exterior and ample airflow. The case includes hot swap fans and a filtered intake, and offers plenty of space for server components. However, some drawbacks noted include a front panel lock of poor quality, cheap fans, and a lack of user manual. Additionally, the case did not come with all of the PCIe slot covers, and the front panel power LED connector is 3 pins instead of the typical two. Despite these deficiencies, users appreciate the case's spacious interior and find it modular and flexible. It has been referred to as a "Main Battle Tank" and is Considered ideal for a home studio setup.
