Answer: The float will be loose and will raise up with the dirty water so the suction is cut off when the tank is full. -

Can you use this Vax on thick pile rugs?
Answer: It’s harder to use on deep pile but will still work. -

Can a universal carpet cleaner solution be used in this machine?
Answer: You can buy low foam solution which is no different to vax solution. -

Can this clean big teddy bears?
Answer: I did my child rocking horse and it was fine looked good as new. -

Any reason why I can't use this to clean a whole carpet? The room is quite small so don't want to buy a large upright machine...
Answer: I've used mine to do small bedrooms with no problems at all. -

Why is a common problem the leaking bottom?
Answer: Mine doesn’t leak. There is a washer type part at the bottom of the water containers, so I suppose this could’ve degenerated, but mine's fine and if it does degrade then I can replace it. -

Answer: I would not recommend it. I think it would be better to use a leather cleaner. -

Answer: Yes, it can be used to suck up spills. -

Has anyone tried this on blue marks from dark denim jeans on a pale fabric?
Answer: Oddly enough, kinda yes. I spilt coffee on my jeans, it had dried whilst I was working on the carpet. So I tried it on my jeans and hey presto, the dried coffee stain disappeared instantly. I was left with a rather soggy leg though. -

Can you purchase/replace the plastic transparent head cover attachment?
Answer: The wash tool can be purchased, the part number is 1-9-142503.
