Answer: Hand wash only in cold water and hang to dry; do not use bleach or fabric softener. -

Answer: It's really quite durable, you won't notice anything of the odd stick or rock :) -

What size is the blanket?
Answer: I am sorry I can't tell you exactly as I bought it as a gift for my grand daughter, but it is large enough for 2 adults and a child to sit on comfortably and to enjoy a picnic. It is made from strong plastic, they have used it to sit on rocks while out walking and it has not torn. My grand daughter recommends it. Hope this helps. -

How waterproof is this?
Answer: At a rough estimate I'd say around 10,000 ml HH, so yep as an emergency shelter it does keep you dry, but bear in mind as with any waterproof and breathable membrane when used on wet ground to sit on damp will slowly come through, no different to what would happen with gore-tex. -

It says hand wash only but my has grease on it from a picnic. How best to clean it please?
Answer: Use Nikwax tech wash in the washing machine at 30 -

Does it come with camping stakes? If not, anyone found good ones they would suggest as accompaniment?
Answer: No, there are no stakes. It is just a lightweight blanket, but I remember it had little pockets at the 4 corners to put stones/sand in to help keep it down. I bought it as a present so can't check. -

How hot does it get in the sun? Planning to bring to Oz and wondering if dark color would heat it up too much?
Answer: Depends on the color really, the lighter the color, the longer it takes to warm up -
